His daycare teachers have assured us that he is a responsible crafter–getting more glue, glitter, crayon, and marker on paper rather than on and in himself.
He’s been home sick all week, and he’s getting a bit bored. So today I busted out the crayons–appropriately heart-shaped for Valentine’s Day.
The coloring lasted all of a minute, and his technique was more banging than rubbing of the crayon on the paper.
Then he experimented with banging the crayons together and chewing on them. I think his teachers have been fibbing.
Of course, I just snapped away.


They do kind of look like candy or cookies!
True. And, you know, he’s one. So most everything goes in his mouth regardless of what it looks like!
Those look like Reese’s Cups to me! I’d eat them too!
