We made a quick jaunt out to St. Louis and back this past weekend to visit with some of our dearest friends. We somehow managed to have a weekend that was full of both fun and relaxation. We saw lots of animals at Grant’s Farm and the zoo. We walked quite a bit and took multiple train rides. We played at the park. We ate great food–grilled burgers and dogs, pizza, grilled quesadillas, and famous STL gooey butter cake–and had great beer. We hung out at the house with the world’s sweetest dog and watched Marshall run and ooh and aah at the lights and ceiling fans. Fun. Relaxing. Lovely. Full in so many ways.

Here are some of my favorite photos from the weekend.
